Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) Will Present its Advanced Unmanned Systems at the 2014 AUVSI Unmanned Systems

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will present its advanced unmanned systems the 2014 AUVSI Unmanned Systems exhibition, May 13-15 in Orlando, Florida (IAI North America, Booth #951). IAI will feature unique unmanned systems which allow area dominance over thousands of square miles, as well as innovative electro-optical capabilities for every mission – from air to sea. The display will include: Super Heron- the latest addition to the Heron UAS family; Ghost UAV; Mini Panther UAV; ELK-7065 3D HF DF antenna; and MOSP HD, MiniPop HD, and POP300 HD optronic payloads. IAI recently announced that its Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) have accumulated over one million operational flight hours worldwide – an unprecedented accomplishment. IAI introduced its new Super Heron heavy-fuel Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) during the Singapore Air Show in February 2014. The Super Heron introduces the latest technology and redefines Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) UASs. The Super Heron features a heavy-fuel 200 horsepower engine and an advanced propulsion system, which significantly enhances the UAS's capacity, rate of climb, and performance. Super Heron's air speed exceeds one hundred and fifty (150) KTAS (knots true airspeed). Joseph Weiss, president and CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, said: "IAI is a global leader in developing comprehensive unmanned systems, offering the widest range of combat-proven systems from tactical ISR to strategic operations. Our systems have proven operational success with over 50 different users in five continents, including North America, and, of course, with the Israel Air Force." Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) is the largest aerospace and defense industry in Israel. IAI is one of Israel's largest industrial exporters and a globally recognized leader in the defense and commercial markets. IAI provides unique system-of-systems solutions for a broad spectrum of needs in space, air, land, sea, and homeland defense. -ends-
